OA-Nene Valley students are developing new creative skills and growing in confidence through sessions delivered by Noise Academy as part of our new enrichment strand.
Available to students across all year groups, the programme gives young people the opportunity to learn DJing and beatboxing skills through engaging, hands-on workshops led by specialist tutors. Students will also work towards certification at the end of the programme, providing them with a valuable achievement to celebrate.
The sessions have already received fantastic feedback from students, who have embraced the chance to explore music, creativity and performance in a different learning environment.
Beyond learning technical skills, the programme is helping students to build confidence, improve communication and strengthen teamwork. It also provides a positive outlet for self-expression, demonstrating that success and personal growth can happen in many ways beyond the traditional classroom setting.
Students now have even more to look forward to, with plans for Noise Academy to attend the academy’s summer prom, where participating students will have the opportunity to be involved in the DJing.
